💰 | Binghamton High School Visions FCU interns recently participated in the credit union's Financial Wellness Intern Capstone Contest. Students were tasked with creating a new product or service - BHS interns created a savings product called Share the Wealth, a program that earns you money when you refer your friends! Binghamton placed second in the contest - congratulations! #BPatriotProud

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 5 is Charlie Ostrander! Charlie was a member of the Orchestra and Steel Drum Band, along with Tri-M Honor Society, French Club, board member of the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra, vice president of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance Club, and co-stage manager of this past fall's production of "12 Angry Jurors".
After graduation, he'll be going to Middlebury College to pursue a degree in translation and interpretation. Charlie's advice to incoming freshmen is to take electives you find interesting, because they can become your favorite part of the day! #BPatriotProud

👯 | When they're not competing, they're using their talents to give back! This weekend, BHS Competitive Dancers shared the routine they'll perform at July's WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS with residents at Bridgewater Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. They wowed the crowd - as always! #BPatriotProud

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 6 is Celia Hemenway! Throughout her time at BHS, Celia spent much of her time giving back, volunteering at the Binghamton Thanksgiving Dinner, Sisterz 4 Sister Prom Dress Fashion Show, Participating in the Harper Stantz Community Cleanup. She was also the founder of the Christian Teens Club, the president of the Mock Trial Team, a member of poetry club, and played the acoustic guitar in Modern Band.
After graduation, Celia will be heading to SUNY Geneseo to major in early childhood education with a concentration in English. Celia's advice to incoming BHS freshmen is to utilize the extracurriculars/elective courses to help with your future and to try your best #BPatriotProud

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 7 is Olivia Ehmke! She was involved in all things arts through high school, being in Davidge Choir, dance team, and many, many musicals. Olivia plans to be a double major in musical theatre and dance at the University of Buffalo in the fall.
Olivia's advice to incoming freshmen is to try a lot of things out your freshman year, but then narrow your focus and prioritize what you love #BPatriotProud

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 8 is Samuel Fraser! He has been a member of Mock Trial, Student Government, Environmental Club, New York Math League, and Southern Tier Mathletes during his time at the high school. After graduation, Samuel will be attending Cornell University to study economics.
Samuel's advice to incoming freshmen is to take advantage of the many college-level courses offered at the high school, because it shows colleges you have the ability to succeed in rigorous courses #BPatriotProud

🥇 | They did it again! Congratulations to BHS dancers who brought home awards at last weekend's United States Tournament of Dance CNY Championship!
The team finished first for its "I Ran" & "Binghamton Baddies" performances, as well as second for its "Latin Explosion" dance. Olivia Ehmke & Efrain Masso-Ramos finished first in their category and first overall for all duets/trios and Allyssa Miller finished third in her solo category. And Dance Teacher Chelsea Gavazzi received two awards for her choreography of the two first-place team performances!

Visions Federal Credit Union student interns from Binghamton High School worked with EMS students on a simulation to show them what it's like to live on a budget. Participants were given an average Broome County salary and then had to balance their wants versus their needs as they paid their monthly bills. #BPatriotProud

Maria has been president of student government for the past two years and was also an active member of Sisterz 4 Sisters, Mathletes, Mock Trial, Lacrosse, and was a student representative on the BCSD Board of Education. After graduation, Maria will be entering the Philosophy, Politics, and Law program at Binghamton University, with the goal of one day becoming an elected official or lawyer.
