🥇 | They did it again! Congratulations to BHS dancers who brought home awards at last weekend's United States Tournament of Dance CNY Championship! The team finished first for its "I Ran" & "Binghamton Baddies" performances, as well as second for its "Latin Explosion" dance. Olivia Ehmke & Efrain Masso-Ramos finished first in their category and first overall for all duets/trios and Allyssa Miller finished third in her solo category. And Dance Teacher Chelsea Gavazzi received two awards for her choreography of the two first-place team performances! #BPatriotProud

💸 | Life is a Reality at East Middle! Visions Federal Credit Union student interns from Binghamton High School worked with EMS students on a simulation to show them what it's like to live on a budget. Participants were given an average Broome County salary and then had to balance their wants versus their needs as they paid their monthly bills. #BPatriotProud

🐮 | Edwards Petting Farm has been visiting students throughout the District as part of a Challenge Enrichment lesson - thanks for providing us an up-close look of animal life! #BPatriotProud

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 12 is Maria Mustafa! Maria has been president of student government for the past two years and was also an active member of Sisterz 4 Sisters, Mathletes, Mock Trial, Lacrosse, and was a student representative on the BCSD Board of Education. After graduation, Maria will be entering the Philosophy, Politics, and Law program at Binghamton University, with the goal of one day becoming an elected official or lawyer. Maria's advice to incoming freshmen is to take advantage of every opportunity BHS offers, whether it's a club, a class, a mentor, or an event #BPatriotProud

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 13 is Cecilia Balchikonis! Along with being in the National and Business Honor Societies, Cecilia was a mentor in the P.L.A.A.Y. Program and an intern at the Visions Federal Credit Union branch at the high school! After graduation, Cecilia will be attending the University of Vermont to study political science. Cecilia's advice to incoming freshmen is to stay on top of coursework and participate in extracurricular activities #BPatriotProud

Jasper was a huge part of all things arts at Binghamton High School, being co-president of mixed choir, vice president of Crescendos, among his numerous other involvements. He wishes to one day become an animator. Jasper's advice to incoming freshmen is to join the choir at Binghamton High School! #BPatriotProud

🎉 Congratulations to BHS junior Sam Dalmolen, who recently represented the Broome-Tioga League at the 2025 Students Inside Albany Conference! Hosted by the League of Women Voters of NYS Education Foundation, the conference brought together 42 students from across the state for an unforgettable deep dive into state government and civic leadership. Sam got to shadow NYS Assemblyman Jow Angelino and NYS Senator Lea Webb, along with touring the capital and getting hands-on learning about state government. #BPatriotProud
